At Surge Construction we are committed to stamping our name on the Brisbane landscape by delivering quality renovations and extensions.

Zach our director, first picked up a hammer when he was on school holidays working with his stepfather at 13 years old whilst working on a heritage listed “Queenslander” in Ascot and it was on that day Zach knew he was going to become a carpenter and the passion for craftsmanship was born.

Why Surge?

We love building. We love problem solving and we love a challenge. On top of this we also host a team of 5 extremely passionate renovation carpenters that won’t rest until every detail is perfect. This makes us the perfect size to still be able to deliver projects on the larger side whilst maintaining quality.

About Zach

Zach has a qualification in building and carpentry and is passionate about driving and maintaining the integrity of his company.

His focus is on promoting growth within his team by being supportive of their lifestyles and likes to drive this by offering what motivates them whether it by time with family, behind-the-scenes knowledge, responsibility, or financial benefits.

He believes in continuous learning and is a member of Live Life Build, has undertaken a passive house tradesperson course, and is currently completing a diploma in Building design.
